Martin Pescador Lodge

Martin Pescador Lodge is the premiere lodge of the Chilean Patagonia owned and hosted by Frans and Anna Jansen who have spent 10 seasons in the region. They have two new lodge facilities with luxurious accommodations that set an incredibly high standard of excellence in food and hospitality while the fishing includes more diverse water than any other fly fishing destination in Patagonia. First, the Puerto Cardenas lodge gives anglers access to the huge Rio Futaleufu-Yelcho drainage area permitting guests to present dragonfly imitations to reed-bed cruising rainbows, to drag out big browns from riverbank structure, and to sight cast tiny nymphs to fish in a massive, lazy back eddy. On the fourth day, while you are fishing, your gear will be transferred to the Rosselot Lodge where you will return that evening. For the next 3 days you will fish the Figueroa-Rosselot-Palena drainage. Each day you will have to opportunity to fish dry flies, streamers and nymphs knowing that this program catches more fish over 10# than any other in Chile. Frans and Anna are that rare combination of people who make the impossible look easy. This lodge is about quality fishing; book early as repeat guests are many.
